The shaded playground is an ideal area for the kids to play in. Even on the hottest of days, the shade provides for a more comfortable playing area. The covered gazebo has four picnic benches and the playground has an additional 4 picnic benches. There is a good amount of room for many children to enjoy the facilities.

Please note: When the Museum hosts groups larger than 60 kids, it becomes necessary to split groups to ensure the best experience for all who attend. The Museum has found that the smaller groups get much more personal attention and therefore learn substantially more than a group of 100 kids in one group.
